Masumi Hayashi (poisoner)

Masumi Hayashi (林 įœŸé ˆįžŽ Hayashi Masumi?) is a Japanese woman convicted of putting poison in curry at a summer festival in Wakayama, Japan. Two children and two adults died, and sixty-three others suffered from acute arsenic poisoning after consuming the curry. On June 28, 2005, a court in Osaka upheld her conviction and death sentence.
