Masud Rana is a fictional character created by Qazi Anwar Hussain. Hussain created the adult spy-thriller series Masud Rana, at first modeled after James Bond, but expanded widely. There are more than 370 books in this series which has gained a lot of popularity in Bangladesh. written from 1960s and continuing even now. Publishings in every month.

Rana, a spy, a former major of the Bangladesh Army continues mission all over the world. His boss is Major General(rd)Rahat Khan of fictional Bangladesh Counter Intelligence (BCI). According to the series, Masud Rana established Rana Agency, a front of BCI in the form of a private investigation agency.
