Massimo Pacetti

Massimo Pacetti (born August 22, 1962 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian politician.
He is a former accountant and entrepreneur, and former commissioner of the Pointe-de-l'Île school board.
Pacetti ran as a Liberal candidate in a by-election in 2002 for a seat in the Canadian House of Commons and was elected in the riding of Saint-Léonard—Saint-Michel. He was re-elected in the 2004 general election.
He introduced bill C-348, an act to recognize the injustice that was done to persons of Italian origin through their "enemy alien" designation and internment during the Second World War which reached its first reading on the April 21st, 2005.
Pacetti is the current chair of the Standing Committee on Finance (FINA) and the FINA Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure.
