Mason Reese
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mason Reese (born April 11, 1965 in Los Angeles)[1] was a child star in numerous television commercials in the 1970s, particularly for Underwood Deviled Ham. He was somewhat overweight and spoke with a slight lisp, making him a very recognizable figure. He has not performed much since the 1970s.
He was the subject of the song "Mason Reese" by Alice Donut on their 1988 debut album, "Donut Comes Alive". The song reflects on what happens to former child stars.
Reese appeared as himself in a 1990 short film directed by Brett Ratner called "Whatever Happened to Mason Reese?." [2]
