Maseno University

Maseno University is a university based in Maseno, near Kisumu, Kenya. It was founded in 1991 and has the following academic programs:
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
- Faculty of Education
- School of Family, Consumer Sciences and Technology
- Institute of Research and Postgraduate studies
- Faculty of Science
- Csolve for interdisciplinary research and consultancy of Lake Victoria.
It is a fully government accreditated University although it is also a subsidiary of Moi University. It was enacted by an Act of Parliament in 1991. in 2000 Maseno University was enacted to be a fully fledged university of which it opar
