Mascot Hall of Fame
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Mascot Hall of Fame is the creation of David Raymond, who was the original Phillie Phanatic from 1978 to 1993, and currently heads the Raymond Entertainment Group out of Newark, Delaware.
Every year, through a nomination process, mascots are chosen by those who pay a one-time fee (which goes to charity) for the voting on the ballot for that person's lifetime.
