Masato Nakamura (中村正人 Nakamura Masato, born October 1, 1958, Japan) is a Japanese musician who is a bassist of the band Dreams Come True.

Nakamura composed the music of the first two Sonic the Hedgehog games for the Sega Mega Drive.

Recently, Masato Nakamura has been in collaboration with US rapper Akon to produce a remix of "Sweet Sweet Sweet" for use in the upcoming game Sonic the Hedgehog[1][2].
