Masato (魔裟斗,March 10, 1979-) is a Japanese kickboxer and K-1 MAX World Grand Prix champion. He was born in Chiba, Japan.
His real name is Masato Kobayashi(小林 雅人). Masato's technically sound style contributes to most of his K-1 victories. Utilizing withering straight right hands along with stinging low kicks, he is often able to overwhelm his opponents with his methodical offense. He is somewhat of a teen idol in Japan; many young ladies often attend K-1 events just to watch him fight. He has appeared in films such as IZO, Buyuden, Dead or Alive 2, and Shukyoku Ninja.
