[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ahmadinejad.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Ahmadinejad.gif. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Scythia

Marmoulak, your Scythia rv removed a big volume of sourced material that was removed by a sequence of vandalic revisions. Please review the contents again. Than you, Barefact 22:00, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

No it is not, there is an archeology section and you should bring actual quotes from your article. Also do not remove the 14 references about Scythians being Iranian. --alidoostzadeh 02:46, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Barefact, I reverted back your edit because it did contain removal of sourced material. As alidoostzadeh said, you can't remove the statement about Scythians being Iranian because it is a generaly accepted theory. Of course nothing is certain about scythians and there are some disputes but matters as old as scythians are mostly disputed. Scythians are categorized as Iranian people because according to the scythian inscriptions that were found their language was an eastern Iranian language.(Marmoulak 18:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Khomeini

Marmoulak, your Khomeini rv removed several relevent,non-controversial pieces of sourced material about Khomeini. Please review the contents again. Thank you, --Leroy65X 20:58, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Your insertions in the article violate NPOV, not to mention they are far from being facts. Stop spreading propaganda in Wikipedia. - Marmoulak 14:40, 1 November 2006 (UTC).

[edit] You

I din't know adding sourced informatioin was vandalism. CJK 01:21, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Iran Iraq War

They are removing sourced information. If they revert again, do not engage them in an edit war, just notify an admin that they have been continuously taking out sourced information. I dont know what else to do, and those stereotypical comments they have been making doesnt help their case much.Khosrow II 04:45, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, personal insults and accusations are getting out of hand, I think it's time we take it to an admin. - Marmoulak 04:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC).

If you don't sign the mediation you'll both be convicted internally and banned. Sign or get the hell out. Touch the article again and you'll be gone permanantly from Wikipedia. The question you should ask yourself is this: do you feel lucky? You've already lost and just don't know it. "Sourced" biased or not, information has not been removed but moved. You two removed that. By all means get administration. I wonder what that means in your camp? Marky48 05:20, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

I think it is you who will be banned if you keep on behaving like this- Marmoulak 17:18, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Sign or be banned. It's really that simple. Continued interferance with this process will be held against your record, which I might add contains past violations. Under scrutiny this won't be in your favor. Marky48 19:50, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok!, I am looking forward to "getting banned" then!!! - Marmoulak 19:58, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

You'll meet your Waterloo I assure you. In fact I'm getting the administrators now.Marky48 03:44, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Salaam

Marmoulak-khaan, salaam:

Mibinam ke injaa rubai-ye-Hakim Khayyam darid. Shomaa in ham daarid?

Tongeh mei-ye-la'al khaaham va divaani Sadd-e-ramaaqi baayaad va nesf-e-naani Vangeh man va to neshasteh dar viraani Khoshtar bovad az momlakat-e-saaltaani.

Agar na -- khub ast. Agar areh -- cheh ensh'Allah!

(So as not to be rude to anyone else -- it's in Farsi above because the poem I'm asking for is in Farsi and I don't just want to give the awful Fitzgerald translation):

Marmoulak, hello:

I see that you have a Khayaam rubai here. Do you also have this one?

...

If not -- OK. If yeah -- what luck!

Man az shomaa kheili mamnoun hastam, aaqaa! (trans: thanks)

(P.S. Sorry about all the edits -- wiki seemed to lose some lines!) -- QTJ 02:12, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nice Userpage

lol, I love your user page. The poem from Khayyam and the "Devils Advocate". I just wanted to know where do you live? And I wanted to tell you your doing good on protecting wiki from unreferenced claims (like Khomeini's page) Khosh bashi ;-) --Arad 03:00, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Brzezinski pages

Marmoulak, if you activate your e-mail, I will try to send you the Brzezinski pages tonight. (I would prefer not to post them publicly; I'm comfortable that showing you the pages for your review is fair use, because they're only a few pages and they're the minimum necessary for you to review the citations for accuracy, but I'm not confident that posting them publicly would qualify as fair use.)

In general, if you get a chance to pick up the Brzezinski book from one of the internet booksellers or interlibrary loan, I would recommend it. Brzezinski's memoirs have a lot of reflections regarding the fall of the Shah (way too many to scan), and I think the memoirs would be very interesting for an Iran history buff like you.
