I live in Oxford in the UK, I have degrees in mathematics and social science, and I work as a supply chain consultant.
My wikipedia advice: never believe anything you read on wikipedia... but careful reference to the discussion page of an entry will help you work out what's going on. And that's one of the things I like about wikipedia. What I don't like is the nature of the systemic bias in subject matter and presentation that comes from the wikipedian demographic - but that may change over time. One day we might even see as much detail on, say, the ongoing conflict in Sri Lanka as there is on Star Wars (or maybe not).
