So here’s my profile page. I became aware of Wikipedia quite a while ago but only started contributing to it in the summer of 2004. I’ve started some pages on my own including Lane Tech, the Bosch reaction, an article on Buffer gas, Terrifica, Fantastico, 419eater.com and Onahan Elementary School.
I’ve also made some meaningful contributions to a number of existing pages. The Terraforming article is one that I watch and have made a lot of contributions to. I’ve also contributed to other articles relating to my other interests in chemistry, cryptography, space colonization, the Simpsons and some other stuff.
I also like to devote some time shoring up the dead-end pages and the orphaned pages. I feel it’s a nice way to improve the quality and usability of the Wikipedia without having to be an expert on a topic. I love the idea of crystallizing the summation of human knowledge like some kind of real world Encyclopedia Galactica.
