Hello, My name is Marie K. Rowley (My friends call me "M"). I'll put more on here when I find the time. I have a live journal that one could see here [1]. I am a member of U.S. Wikipedians' Notice Board and the Fun Department (yay). According to the Official "Are you a Wikipediholic" test I have a score of 60 which is really low :(

A male Mallard in mid-flight. The fundamentals of bird flight are similar to those of aircraft. Lift force is produced by the action of air-flow on the wing, which is an airfoil. This occurs because the air has a lower air pressure just above the wing and higher pressure below.
