[edit] Anticipation

I anticipate that several controversial points may be made on the assessment of the races. Let us try to moderate them here on this page rather than on the article itself.

Here are things that need to get done to make the article useful:

  • add lines between districts for clarity
  • break up beginning table of contents into two columns, first is Delegates, second is Senate
  • in the table of contents, think about eliminating everything but the District

Consistent Conventions: On candidates, we need to be consistent on conventions, thus the following would be most useful and brief:

  • X-term incumbent; first time candidate; candidate for Delegate in 2002 (if lost in Primary); 2002 Democratic nominee (if won Primary but lost General); profession; really notable accomplishment; from town of residence.
  • most recent or most relevant candidacies first

I concur with the first section about clarity; I do think that we need to keep the seperation between Senate and House races. I'm not familiar enough with the formatting yet to figure out how to do either of them, so we may need some help on that.

--robbblack 11:08, 25 January 2006 Deleted portion in District 30 section about moving primary date. It does not look like this is going to happen now.

--robbblack 9:55, 26 January 2006 Deleted Josh Cohen from potential District 30 delegate and moved him to potential county council candidate for Anne Arundel County.

Edited District 33 Senate race for POV. Robbblack 17:32, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

-- Added Wayne Smith, Potential District 32. Has filed campaign committee, should file as running before end of March.

[edit] Remove the red links

In this article, all the red links should be removed and possibly replaced by boldfaced text. Almost none of the people linked to are notable (see Wikipedia:Notability) and most of the blue links are directed at the wrong people. --Jadriaen 03:23, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
