Talk:Marine current power

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suggest that we find a better name for this alternative energy source: Tidal Stream? (refering to [Tidal "wind farms" [1]].)

The power available in the Agulhas Ocean Stream is immense. The velocity is about 2 m s-1, with a volume of 70 × 106 m3 s-1 [2]. And this is within ?? km of the coastline. (A formula with an answer in TW maybe?)

The reference to the Mozambique Current in the table next to [South African[3]] and othe relavent stuff can then be moved to this page!
