- Maria Emanuel in Spanish - Seth Ilys 16:58, 9 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Translated: German noble, stub article, I guess being nominal Prince of Saxony is (barely) encyclopedia-worthy. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of some of the facts, just the translation. -- Jmabel 23:09, 9 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- How can a MARIA Emanuel be a he and a prince? Perhaps its Emanuel Maria? Muriel 11:52, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- That's really his name. Surprised me at first, too. You can find plenty of references to him on the web in obviously well-researched articles, just do a search. I do not know how that came to be his name, but it is. -- Jmabel 07:05, 12 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Ok then... But it is strange. Muriel 11:28, 13 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] English?
If anyone can parse "including the Margraves brother Albert who supports his cousin Timo’s morganatic born son Rüdiger who has three sons", please turn it into something clearer. Thanks. - Jmabel | Talk 05:53, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Polish throne
It's woth to mention that prince Maria Emanuel never put any claims to Polish throne: he is a candidate of some traditionalists organisation in Poland. A.J. 12:07, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Go ahead an add it, if you like. Was the throne of Poland actually hereditary through the Wettin dynasty though? I thought it was always elective. Charles 14:06, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not very sure about my English skills (see en-2 in my Babel tower). The polish throne was hereditary in Piast and Jagiellonian dynasty, then elective (I'm not a historitian so I don't know if tere was a Wettin elected or not..). The 3rd May Constutution changed that, and sinse king Stanislaus August Poniatowski had no sons, throne passed to Wettin dynasty: and these organisations I told before say, that the constutution was never exlplicitly overrluled, alhough the Regency Council passed the power to Józef Piłsudzki and shortly after Sejm declared new Polish Republic. [edit] Extensive recent uncited edits
I notice extensive recent uncited edits, including changes of names of people referred to. This article is way outside my competence, I am not going to attempt to fix anything, just raising a flag. One thing I will point to, though, is that I seriously question whether "Hereditacies", now a section header in this article, is even a word in English or any other language. - Jmabel | Talk 08:10, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
