The Maryland Horse Industry Board is an agency which is part of the Maryland Department of Agriculture. The Board licenses boarding and rental facilities for horses in Maryland and promotes the state's horse industry. The Board was created in 1998 to replace the former State Board of Inspection of Horse Riding Stables.
