Maryam Heydarzadeh

Maryam Heydarzadeh (1977-) is a blind contemporary Iranian poet, lyricist, and singer. Some famous iranian singers have created songs using her poetry.
She is a blind young woman who attracted Iranian nation with her poems and voice. Maryam’s poems are full of lovely romantic romance where sincere lover addressing her love with the most simple words that people are using in everyday communications and they are having deep meaning full of sense:
Forgive me…Forgive me if feel deeply homesick for you…if my looking at you is lost in your deep eyes.
Forgive me if I am counting stars during nights…if I said: “I love you” in front of everyone.
