Mary Jo Deschanel (born 1945 as Mary Jo Weir in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress. She played the wife of John Glenn in the movie adaptation of The Right Stuff. She is married to cinematographer Caleb Deschanel, and is the mother of actresses Emily and Zooey Deschanel.
