Mary Emma Woolley

Mary Emma Woolley (July 13, 1863September 5, 1947) was an American educator, peace activist and women's suffrage supporter.

She taught at Wheaton Seminary before becoming one of the first women to receive a B.A. from Brown University in 1894. She taught Bible history at Wellesley College from 1895-1900.

From 1900-1936, Woolley served as President of Mount Holyoke College.
