Mary Bell (マリーベル, Marīberu^?), sometimes just called Mary, is the central character in the anime Floral Magician Mary Bell.

She looks like a 5- or 6-year-old girl, but actually is at least 500,000 years old (usually believed to be 500,005 years old). She is not a human girl but a magical girl called floral magician, who came from the Flower Magic World (花魔法界, hanamahō-kai^?) to the Human World.

• Probably they named her after Mary Poppins. The protagonists of the in-anime book Mary Bell Picture Book are children called Jane and Michael, which is considered as one of the hidden references to Mary Poppins.
• In the original Japanese anime, Chieko Honda voiced her.
• She is the oldest among all the anime characters whose ages are explicitly known. (See ja.wikipedia (Japanese))
• Her trademark phrase is: “Just leave it to Mary Bell!” (マリーベルにおまかせよ!, Mary Bell ni omakase yo!^?)
