Maruyama, Chiba

Maruyama (丸山町; -machi) is a town located in Awa District, Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 5,565 and a density of 126.16 persons per km². The total area is 44.11 km².

On March 20, 2006, the municipalities of Tomiura, Tomiyama, Miyoshi, Shirahama, Chikura, Maruyama and Wada (all from Awa District) merged to form the city of Minamiboso.
