Marty Seifert

Marty Seifert is the current Republican Majority Whip of the Minnesota House of Representatives. He represents MN House District 21a, a predominantly rural area surrounding Marshall. He was first elected in 1996.

During his time at Southwest Minnesota State University he brought back the College Republicans at to University. Later, he became student body president of Smsusa. Upon Graduation, Seifert received a B.S. in Political Science.

Representative Seifert is married with two children and works as an admissions counselor at Southwest Minnesota State University Southwest Minnesota State University.
