For the professional wrestler see: Marty Wright

Martin Wright was a co-founder of Class War together with Ian Bone and others. Bone and Wright were also organisers as the anti-royalist group Movement against the Monarchy (MA'M).

He also worked with many other groups including the London Autonomists and production collective of Anarchy Magazine and Xtra during the 1970s & early '80s

He was inaccurately accused of being "drawn to fascist politics" by Clive Bloom in the book Violent London : 2000 Years of Riots, Rebels and Revolts, Publisher: Pan Macmillan (September 18, 2004) ISBN 0-283-07310-1. He has repeatedly disputed the claim.

He has no connection with the environmental journalist and adviser, also called Martin Wright, who is editor (at large) of Green Futures magazine.
