Martin Gubby

Martin Gubby (born July 7, 1969, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), is a Chinese-Canadian author who now lives in Sydney, Australia. In his writing, he frequently explores the ways in which sexual identity and cultural identity interact.

He is the author of three books:

  • Calendar Boy (a short fiction collection)
  • Slant (poetry)
  • Six Positions (erotica)

He has also co-edited another book, Swallowing Clouds: An Anthology of Chinese-Canadian Poetry, with Jim Wong-Chu.

In addition to his writing, Gubby is a musician and community activist.
