[edit] Open Heart Zoo (2002)
He first achieved serious critical acclaim after his haunting falsetto track Open Heart Zoo (written when he was 19 years old) was featured on a Lexus car advert on UK television in 2002. A debut album of the same name (produced by Andy Ross) quickly achieved cult status, with the expansive and eclectic record being compared, in places, to the work of Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Jeff Buckley. The accompanying British tour saw Grech gain a larger following and further critical support/
[edit] Unholy (2005)
2005 saw the arrival of Martin Grech’s second album, entitled Unholy. It dealt with much darker, and more disturbing, themes than his debut record, including such lyrical topics as insanity, heresy and death. The songs pushed the boundaries of Grech’s music through instrumental experimentation and previously unheard vocal power. As before, reviews were extremely positive and his fan-base expanded. The Unholy art work created by Stephen Kasner was hung as a backdrop to live shows. This elevated his status in the alternative UK rock music scene and continues to contribute to his increasing popularity.

[edit] Other Work
As well as his solo releases Grech has performed Vocals on the album "First Chance I Get I'm Out Of Here" (2005) by fellow Aylesbury artist Zealey. He also drums for the four-piece rock band Ophelia Torah.
According to NME Grech is involved in a collaboration project organised by yourcodenameis:milo, along with Bloc Party, Graham Coxon, Tom Vek, Reuben and Biffy Clyro.
The track is called We Hope You Are What You Think You Are and dispite being a collaborative between yourcodenameis:milo it still keeps Martin Grech's epic length being more then 5 minutes long.
Grech's vocal style is more of a common type of singing probably to accompany those familiar with yourcodenameis:milo's work.
