Martin 156

The Martin 156 was a very large (for its time) flying boat aircraft intended for transoceanic service. The aircraft was powered by four radial engines. The passenger capacity varied between 33 and 53 people and the aircraft could be converted into a 26 berth sleeper.
This aircraft, as the China Clipper was used by Pan American World Airways to establish trans-Pacific air service between San Francisco and Hong Kong in 1937.
