Martijn Meerdink

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Martijn Meerdink (born September 19, 1976 in Winterswijk) was AZ Alkmaar's first team right wing forward in the 2004–2005 season.

He was known by supporters for his excellent crossing ability and his skill of getting through the defense in preparation to cross. However, in the 2005–2006 season he was made a substitute and replaced by an attacker due to his low scoring record: he only scored 4 goals in the 2004–2005 season. Meerdink is now back on the AZ Alkmaar first team and on form.
