Martha Raddatz (born 1953, Salt Lake City, Utah [1]) is an ABC News reporter. In November 2005 she was promoted to Chief White House Correspondent. Before that time she was ABC's senior national security correspondent. She often reports on ABC's World News with Charles Gibson, Nightline, and other news broadcasts. On June 8, 2006, Raddatz received a tip that terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had been located and killed. This tip allowed Raddatz and ABC News to become the first news organization in the world to break the news shortly after 2:30 AM EST.[2]
