Martha Ann Johnson

Martha Ann Johnson was a 22-year-old, 250 lb mother of four. Martha Ann Johnson would respond to fights with her husband by killing one of their children. She would roll over onto the child and suffocate it by pressing her whole body weight against the child. Over the course of five years, she murdered all four of their young children. One of several female "Revenge Serial Killers", she "got away with it" until 1989, when an investigative reporter dug up her children's questionable death certificates. Martha confessed and was sentenced to death in 1990.
