Marshall Holman

Marshall Holman (born 1954 in Medford, Oregon) is a professional American bowler primarily known for his success at a young age on the PBA Tour throughout the 1970s and 1980s and his flamboyant personality that captured the attention of many bowling fans. He also served as a color analyst on several ESPN bowling telecasts from 1998-2001.
A single-digit handicap golfer since his professional bowling days, Marshall is currently a regular on the Celebrity Players Golf Tour.

- Marshall's father was a disc jockey at a local radio station in Medford. He was nicknamed "Holman the Poleman", as he once did a radio show while pole-sitting. Marshall was then dubbed a similar nickname "Holman the Bowlman". (Information provided by color analyst Nelson Burton Jr. during a PBA Tour telecast on ABC, February 2, 1985.)
