Germany — Marlene Charell (born July 27, 1944) is a German entertainer and was a dancer at the Lido in Paris from 1968 until the end-of-1970. She also danced at The Dunes casino in Las Vegas in the show "Casino de Paris" in 1966 and at "Folies Bergere" from 1962 until 1968. Because of the apparent length of her legs she was labeled as Miss Longlegs. Because of her outstanding successes as a showstar she was given the title Queen of German TV, as well.
In 1983 she presented the Eurovision Song Contest from München. Her tri-lingual translations of the script did not endear her to hard core Eurovision fans but she is often remembered for introducing Norwegian conductor Sigurd Jansen as Johannes Skorgan!
