Markus Neumayr

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Markus Neumayr (born March 26, 1986 in Hösbach) is a German football player.

He signed for Manchester United from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2003. He plays most often on the right side of midfield, although sometimes coming into the centre midfield position; and he has yet to make his senior debut. However he was called in to the squad on March 29, 2006 for the match against West Ham but never made the final sixteen. Since the departure of David Fox to Blackpool F.C. Markus has taken on the role of reserve team captain.

He was released from the club at the end of the 2005/2006 season [1] and joined MSV Duisburg in the German Second Bundesliga
