Marko Lomić

Marko Lomić (Serbian Cyrillic: Марко Ломић) (born September 13, 1983 in Cacak, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player who plays for FK Partizan. Previous clubs include Borac Cacak, Litex Lovech and FC Železnik.
A left-back with the ability to whip in dangerous crosses, Lomić is often deployed further up field. A teenage discovery at lower league side FK Remont, he sealed his reputation in a three-year spell with FK Železnik, winning the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup in 2005.
In June 2005, he was set to join the Romanian team FCU Politehnica Timişoara, and had already set out to drive to the club to sign a deal when he received a call from Belgrade giants FK Partizan. He duly turned tail to join the black-and-whites and saw action in the qualifying stages of the UEFA Champions League and the first round of the UEFA Cup in 2005/06.

He won a silver medal with the Serbia and Montenegro national under-21 football team at the 2004 European Under-21 Football Championship.
He was part of the Serbian and Montenegrin 2004 Olympic football team, who exited in the first round, finishing fourth in Group C behind gold-medal winners Argentina, Australia and Tunisia.
