Mark Yakich

Mark Yakich is the author of Unrelated Individuals Forming a Group Waiting to Cross, which was one of five winners of The National Poetry Series in 2003, and several other poems and short stories. He is an assistant professor at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, where he teaches creative writing.
His poems "Seersucker" and "Funeral Direction" appear in Blackbird: an online journal of literature and the arts.
