Son of actors Peter Davey and Anna Wing, Mark Wing-Davey (born 30 November 1948, London, England) studied at Cambridge University where he was a member of the Footlights from 1967 to 1970. He is particularly well remembered for playing the two-headed Galactic President, Zaphod Beeblebrox, in the radio and TV versions of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but he also played a record company executive in Breaking Glass (1980) and an accountant in Absolutely Fabulous. He works mainly in theatre now as performer, director and teacher. His directing credits are vast and varied and he is viewed as one of the foremost British directors. He was awarded the U.S.'s OBIE for directing the play 'Mad Forest'. He is also Chief Executive of The Actors Centre, London. More recently he has provided the voice of Judge Ghis in the english version of Final Fantasy XII.
