Mark Stammers

Mark Stammers is a graphic designer, editor and author best known for his work related to the BBC Television series Doctor Who. He usually works with co-editors David J. Howe and/or Stephen James Walker.

Mark began his relationship with Doctor Who by designing materials for the Doctor Who Appreciation Society's publications, and also the award-winning fanzine The Frame.

His first professional work was designing a number of large format books for Virgin Publishing, including Blacklight - The Art of Andrew Skilleter, and Timeframe by David J Howe. He then co-authored the popular Doctor Who reference book series Decades and The Handbook with David J Howe and Stephen James Walker. He also co-edited The Companions with David J Howe. He also co-edited the first two books of the Virgin Decalog Doctor Who short fiction collections with Stephen James Walker.

In addition to this, Mark has also written some Doctor Who fiction: short stories in the Decalog series, and a drabble in the David J. Howe edited Drabble Who collection.
