Mark Simmons is a wide receiver in the National Football League who plays for the San Diego Chargers. He went undrafted in the 2006 NFL draft, but was signed later as a free agent by the Chargers. He attended the University of Kansas. He is expected to compete for a roster spot on the Chargers. Simmons, who grew up in Desoto, Texas is also expected to compete for a punt return and gunner position on the 53 man roster. Mark suffers from a rare respiratory disorder resulting in frequent coughing.
