Mark Schultz (born September 16, 1970, Kansas City, Kansas) is a popular Contemporary Christian music singer/songwriter. He was a youth group leader in Nashville, Tennessee when a teen suggested he take his songs to a record producer. He has released 4 albums and has been nominated for numerous Dove Awards, finally winning his first at the 2006 Doves ceremony when the CD/DVD Mark Schultz Live: A Night of Stories & Songs was named Long Form Music Video of the Year. Mark recently married Kate. On his newest CD, 'Broken and Beautiful', there is a bonus DVD that shows footage of his recent trip to Mexico

  1. Mark Schultz (2000), including singles I Am the Way, Let's Go, Remember Me, and He's My Son. He's My Son gained airplay on secular adult contemporary stations as well. This album reached #180 on The Billboard 200 chart.
  2. Song Cinema (2002), including singles Back In His Arms Again, I Have Been There, and The Time Of My Life. The Time Of My Life has recently become a popular wedding song. There is also a remake of Mr. Mister's hit, "Kyrie".
  3. Stories & Songs (2003), including singles You Are A Child Of Mine, He Will Carry Me, and Letters From War. Letters From War was the #1 song on Armed Forces Radio in 2004. It was performed in Washington, D. C., for George W. Bush in the summer of 2004. The video is downloadable from www.mark-schultz.com[1]. This album reached #11 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
  4. Mark Schultz Live: A Night of Stories and Songs (2005), with live and studio tracks, including the single I Am. This album also includes a bonus DVD containing the now-famous video for Letters From War and interviews and scenes from Mark Schultz's life. This album has sold over 1,000,000 copies in the USA.
