Mark Moody-Stuart

Sir Mark Moody-Stuart (Born September 15, 1940, Antigua) is chairman of Anglo American plc and an ex-chairman of Royal Dutch Shell and a director of HSBC Holdings and of Accenture. He is a member of the UN Secretary General's Advisory Council for the Global Compact.
Moody-Stuart became a Managing Director of The "Shell" Transport and Trading Company, p.l.c. in 1991 and was Chairman from 1998-2001. He was succeeded by Sir Philip Watts.

In stark contrast to both his predecessor (Cor Herkstroter) and successor (Philip Watts) at Shell, Mark was popular and had a reputation for being both listening and thoughtful.
