Mark Lynch, (born September 2, 1981 in Manchester) is a footballer currently playing for Yeovil Town. His favoured position is right-back.
Previously a promising junior with Manchester United (for whom he made one senior appearance, against Deportivo de La Coruña in the UEFA Champions League in March 2003) , Lynch moved to Sunderland on a free transfer and then on to Hull City in July 2005, again for free.
Cruelly, he suffered a knee injury in the first minute of his Hull City debut in August 2005 against QPR, and in his first game back against Coventry he was sent off. He made only 15 further appearances for Hull in the 2005-06 season, the last of which was in January, and at the end of the season he was made available for transfer by manager Peter Taylor.
On August 31, 2006, transfer deadline day, Lynch completed a free transfer to Yeovil Town, following a brief loan spell.
