Mark Halsey (born July 8, 1961) is an English football referee in the FA Premier League. He was formerly based in Welwyn Garden City, latterly in Bolton, Lancashire.

Mark started refereeing in 1989 and became a FA Premier League referee after only 10 years in 1999. 1 year later (2000) Mark became a FIFA referee.

One of Halsey's most controversial decisions was to send of Sol Campbell in Arsenal's championship deciding game against Manchester United, for an alledged elbow, even though replays suggested the decision was incorrect. The match was drawn 2-2 and Manchester United went on the win the league.
