Mark Gearan

Mark Gearan was director of the Peace Corps, assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff during the administration of William Jefferson Clinton.

He was as campaign manager for Al Gore during his run for the vice presidency in 1992. He was Deputy Director of the Clinton/Gore Transition Team in 1992.

He is the current President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.

Gearan earned his B.A. in government cum laude at Harvard University and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
