Mark Doyle

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mark Doyle is a UK-based nightclub DJ, A&R man and record label owner.

In 1999 he founded the record and lifestyle label Hed Kandi for Jazz FM, and began an extensive marketing campaign within the UK and abroad with the label's house and chill music compilations and club nights in several nightclubs. These efforts helped not only Hed Kandi's strong reputation amongst the dance music scene but also to distinguish the brand as unique with a wide range of house music sub-genre compilations aided by their instantly-recognisable artwork designs by Jason Brooks.

In the summer of 2005, Mark Doyle left Hed Kandi and Jazz FM to set up his own independent music label, Tokyo Project, which launched in October of the same year with club nights and a CD release named Tokyo Project: The Collection. A legal dispute followed and this label was eventually closed down.

Determination saw Mark Doyle to start again and in mid-2006 he set up a new music label, Fierce Angels. This label quickly became a success aided by marketing campaigns in the UK and Ibiza during the summer and has thus far released four successful CD compilations and presence in many UK nightclubs.
