Mark D. Maughmer

Mark D. Maughmer is a Professor of Aerospace Engineering in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He is known throughout the world as one of the leading aerodynamists especially in the areas of airfoil and winglet design.

He received his Ph.D. (Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering) from the University of Illinois in 1983, M.S. from Princeton University in 1975 and B.S. from the University of Illinois in 1972.
