Mark Chaussee

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mark Chaussee was the live guitarist for Marilyn Manson on the 2004-2005 Against All Gods world tour.. Chaussee joined the band in late 2004 as a replacement for the recently-departed John 5.

A former member of Danzig and of Rob Halford's post-Judas Priest band Fight, and Minneapolis's (The Coup De Grace) Chaussee brought an "old-school" heavy metal sound to Marilyn Manson's live performance, in contrast to John 5's polished hard rock influences.

Chaussee's position in the band was temporary. In a 2006 performance of the band's cover of "This Is Halloween" for the Nightmare Before Christmas movie, Tim was seen playing guitar, as well as doing some sampling. There was no live bassist. Which was little odd because Manson has always had a strong bass sound.
