Mark Caltonhill

Mark Caltonhill, a British translator and writer, is the author of "Private Prayers and Public Parades - Exploring the Religious Life of Taipei," an English-language book published by the Department of Information, Taipei City Government, Taiwan.

Caltonhill, who studied Chinese at the University of Edinburgh, was a columnist for The China Post, writing under the name Jonathan Wardle. His weekly column, which covered various cultural topics, was called "View From The Hill."

Caltonhill is a frequent contributor to Travel In Taiwan and Government Information Office publications.
