Mark Anthony Davis

Mark Davis (full name: Mark Anthony Davis; born April 26, 1973 in Thibodaux, Louisiana) is a professional basketball player, formerly in the NBA.

Davis, a 6'7" small forward, attended Howard College in Big Spring, Texas and Texas Tech University before being selected 19th in the second round (48th overall) by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1995 NBA Draft. He also spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors.

On January 25, 2000, during a game against the Dallas Mavericks, Davis picked up 7'6" Mavericks center Shawn Bradley and slammed him on the court. For his actions, he was fined $7,500 by the NBA.

Mark Davis is currently playing in South Korea for Dongbu Promy, a team sponsored by the Dongbu Insurance Company.
