Marjorie Husted

Marjorie Child Husted (c. 1892-Dec. 23, 1986)[1] is a home economist who helped develop the brand character Betty Crocker.
Born Marjorie Child, she was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and initiated member of Kappa Alpha Theta. This program would run through 1953.
In 1924, the daytime radio broadcast Betty Crocker Cooking School of the Air debuted. For two decades, Crocker was voiced and scripted Marjorie Husted.
