Marius Măldărăşanu

Marius Măldărăşanu (born April 19, 1975 in Ploieşti, Romania) is a football midfielder currently playing in the Romanian league for Rapid Bucureşti. Măldărăşanu started his career playing for FC Petrolul Ploieşti in 1996, moving to Rapid in 1998. Măldărăşanu joined the Turkish side Besiktas during the 2002 season, only to return in 2003. Măldărăşanu is a regular in the Rapid side, as well as an occasional Romanian international. As of July 2005, Măldărăşanu has been capped seven times for his country.
