Marius Johnsen

Marius Johnsen (born August 28, 1981 in Kristiansand) is a Norwegian footballer, the second son of Reidun and Jan Johnsen.
Johnsen currently plays for I.K. Start, as a left back player. During the summer of 2005, he made his debut on the Norwegian national team, with great success. He is considered one of the greatest talents in Norwegian Premier League, as of 2005. His older brother Espen Johnsen is the goalkeeper for Rosenborg B.K. in Trondheim, Norway.
He currently studies religion at the Agder University College, planning to teach history and/or religion at a college or University. Like the rest of his family, he is involved in the activities of the Norwegian Free Church. Like his brother, he has made a mark in the national press for publicly expressing his religious beliefs.
